Microclimate notes from Grand Canyon Rim to River. We went Bright Angel down to river camps w/ a South Kaibab exit starting at 5:35 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day. Would do again in a heartbeat.
