Pre-dawn start on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went North Kaibab to inner canyon camp w/ a next-day climb out starting at 6:00 AM. Rim started cold and the canyon floor warmed up by late morning. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 4/5. Scenery 4/5.
Already planning the next one.
