Out the door at 6:00 AM. Grand Canyon Rim to River sunrise session.
We went Bright Angel down to river camps w/ a South Kaibab exit starting at 6:00 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Light was best in the first two hrs.
