Quality over speed on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went South Kaibab descent w/ one night at Bright Angel area starting at 4:45 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day.
