I have been coming here for years. Grand Canyon Rim to River update.
We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 6:00 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 5/5 scenery 5/5.
Just show up ready.
