Wildflowers were peaking on The Wave.
We went Classic out-and-back from Wire Pass before heat builds starting at 4:45 AM. Clear sky made timing simple and kept visibility high. Sand sections were soft but easy to follow with track lines.
Wildlife/nature notes: One snake sighting far off trail, easy to avoid.
Grateful for this one...
