The Subway was a side trip off the main route.
We went Left Fork trailhead to the lower Subway section starting at 6:50 AM. Cloud cover held until late morning and kept the slickrock from baking. Rock steps were stable, with a few muddy pockets by the creek.
Ratings: 4 overall, 5 difficulty, 4 scenery.
Preparation is everything.
