Out the door at 6:50 AM. The Subway sunrise session.
We went Left Fork approach w/ a quick weather check at dawn starting at 6:50 AM. Cool morning air helped us move fast before the canyon warmed up. Route finding was straightforward if we stayed on cairns and creek turns.
Golden hour delivered.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 3/5. Scenery 4/5.
Bottom line: Slow down on muddy sections.
The boring prep stuff matters.
