Conditions played out exactly as forecast on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went South Kaibab descent w/ one night at Bright Angel area starting at 5:35 AM. Clear skies gave us big temp swings between rim and river. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
The trail rewards the patient.
