We had been planning Grand Canyon Rim to River for months, and it finally happened. We took South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area with 2 people. Started around 6:25 AM when clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river. The trail main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day water points were open, but we still carried backup capacity. Would do again in a heartbeat.
