Light conditions on Grand Canyon Rim to River:
We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 5:35 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day.
Golden hour delivered.
Short version: Know the bail-out options.
Grateful for this one.
