Route: Left Fork trailhead to the lower Subway section. Weather: Wind stayed light, which made the river sections easier to handle.. Trail: Footing was solid on the dry benches and a little slick near water lines.. Water: Creek flow was moderate and easy to cross w/ poles.. Crowds: empty.
