Fauna notes from Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went South Kaibab descent w/ one night at Bright Angel area starting at 4:45 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
Wildlife/nature notes: Only small critters around camp, nothing that changed our plan.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 5/5. Scenery 5/5.
Do your homework first.
