If you are prepping for Grand Canyon Rim to River, read this first. We went North Kaibab to inner canyon camp w/ a next-day climb out starting at 6:25 AM. Rim started cold and the canyon floor warmed up by late morning. Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees. Key considerations: Take photos of the permit. Overall 4/5. Difficulty 5/5. Scenery 4/5. Would do again in a heartbeat...
