Grand Canyon Rim to River reminded me why I do this. We took North Kaibab to inner canyon camp with a next-day climb out with 3 people. Started around 5:35 AM when wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. The trail upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them. Tap lines moved quickly, still worth filling before exposed climbs. Quick scores: overall=5, difficulty=3, views=4 Some trips stay with you.
