Grand Canyon Rim to River has some interesting history.
We went North Kaibab to inner canyon camp with a next-day climb out starting at 5:10 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
The kind of day that resets perspective.
