Kit breakdown from The Subway:
We went Left Fork approach w/ a quick weather check at dawn starting at 5:35 AM. Cloud cover held until late morning and kept the slickrock from baking. Footing was solid on the dry benches and a little slick near water lines.
Gear that worked: InReach, Lighter, Headlamp, Microspikes.
Sticky shoes and quick-dry layers made the creek sections less annoying.
Short version: Bring one extra liter.
Your mileage may vary.
