Here is what worked (and what did not) on The Wave.
We went Classic out-and-back from Wire Pass before heat builds starting at 6:25 AM. Cold start turned into warm sun by mid-morning. Slickrock footing was solid where it stayed dry.
Gear that worked: Filter, First aid, Headlamp, Sunscreen.
Offline maps and spare battery removed a lot of stress.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 4/5. Scenery 5/5.
