Compared to the long trails, Grand Canyon Rim to River is:
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 5:35 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river. Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
Worth every bit of effort.
