Sub-10lb kit on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went North Kaibab to inner canyon camp with a next-day climb out starting at 6:50 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Gear that worked: GPS, Watch with altimeter, InReach, Crampons.
Sun shirt and electrolyte packets carried the second half of the day.
Grateful for this one.
