Grand Canyon Rim to River has some interesting history.
We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 6:25 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Ratings: 5 overall, 4 difficulty, 5 scenery.
Preparation is everything.
