6:00 AM start the Subway. Worth it.
We went Left Fork trailhead to the lower Subway section starting at 6:00 AM. Wind stayed light, which made the river sections easier to handle. Route finding was straightforward if we stayed on cairns and creek turns.
Soft overcast made for even exposure all day.
Ratings: 4 overall, 5 difficulty, 5 scenery.
Days like this are why I hike.
