Been doing grand canyon rim to river for years. This time: we went south kaibab descent w/ one night at bright angel area starting at 6:00 am. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day. Quick scores: overall=5, difficulty=4, views=5 short version: download your map before you lose service. Already planning the next one.
