Local perspective on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 6:50 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day.
Trust your prep.
Quick notes:
- Physical map as backup.
- Move over for faster hikers.
- Be friendly at the trailhead.
