Sharing some Big Bend Backcountry thoughts while they are fresh.
We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo with a one-night camp starting at 6:25 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. Route stayed obvious, with minor wash marks in low spots.
Trust your prep.
