Big bend backcountry reminded me why i do this.
The route was dodson and blue creek combo with a one-night camp. Dry air and steady sun meant layers changed fast after sunrise. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections. We had light company on the trail.
Ratings: 4 overall, 5 difficulty, 4 scenery.
Days like this are why i hike.
