Done Big Bend Backcountry a few times now. Here is the latest. We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo w/ a one-night camp starting at 6:00 AM. Cool morning temps made long exposed miles feel manageable. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections. Short version: Tape hot spots before they blister. Already planning the next one.
