Straight talk about Big Bend Backcountry.
We went Chisos Basin entry with East Rim side mileage starting at 5:35 AM. Cool morning temps made long exposed miles feel manageable. Route stayed obvious, with minor wash marks in low spots.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 4/5. Scenery 4/5.
Questions welcome.
