Did Big Bend Backcountry alone this time. We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo with a one-night camp starting at 6:00 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. Tread was dry and clear with a few loose rock corners. Preparation is everything. Quick notes: - Mark key waypoints. - Move over for faster hikers. - Share beta when asked.
