Been doing Big Bend Backcountry for years. This time:
We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo w/ a one-night camp starting at 6:25 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 5/5. Scenery 4/5.
