I have been coming here for years. Big Bend Backcountry update. We went Chisos Basin entry with East Rim side mileage starting at 5:35 AM. Dry air and steady sun meant layers changed fast after sunrise. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections. Ratings: 5 overall, 5 difficulty, 5 scenery. Still thinking about this one.
