We went Chisos Basin entry with East Rim side mileage starting at 6:50 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
