Fauna notes from big bend backcountry. We went chisos basin entry w/ east rim side mileage starting at 6:00 am wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections. Wildlife/nature notes: tracks were everywhere, but no close wildlife encounters. The boring prep stuff matters. Tips - do not trust parking to work out. - keep snacks accessible.
