Some guidance for anyone planning Big Bend Backcountry.
We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo w/ a one-night camp starting at 4:45 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. Tread was dry and clear w/ a few loose rock corners.
