Thru-hiker perspective on Big Bend Backcountry.
We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo with a one-night camp starting at 5:10 AM. Cool morning temps made long exposed miles feel manageable. Tread was dry and clear with a few loose rock corners.

TLDR: Wave at other hikers.
