Big Bend Backcountry at dusk hits different.
We went Outer Mountain Loop sections from the Chisos side starting at 6:50 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
10/10 would recommend.
