Big Bend Backcountry at dusk hits different.
We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo with a one-night camp starting at 5:35 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. Tread was dry and clear with a few loose rock corners.
Soft overcast made for even exposure all day.
