Quantified: Big Bend Backcountry breakdown.
Route: Outer Mountain Loop sections from the Chisos side. Weather: Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace.. Trail: Tread was dry and clear w/ a few loose rock corners.. Water: Water planning mattered most since natural sources were limited.. Crowds: light.
Grateful for this one.
