Done big bend backcountry a few times now. Here is the latest.
We went chisos basin entry w/ east rim side mileage starting at 4:45 am. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. Route stayed obvious, w/ minor wash marks in low spots.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 5/5. Scenery 5/5.
