Pre-dawn start on Big Bend Backcountry.
We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo w/ a one-night camp starting at 6:25 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. Tread was dry and clear w/ a few loose rock corners.
Soft overcast made for even exposure all day.
Miles are earned, not given.
