Big Bend Backcountry was a side trip off the main route. We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo with a one-night camp starting at 5:10 AM cool morning temps made long exposed miles feel manageable. Tread was dry and clear with a few loose rock corners. Miles are earned, not given.
