Start: 4:45 AM. 4 people.
Route: Chisos Basin entry with East Rim side mileage.
Weather: Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace.
Trail: Tread was dry and clear with a few loose rock corners.
Water: We treated every known source as uncertain and carried extra.
Crowds: crowded
Gear: Trekking poles, Neoprene socks, Dry bag
TLDR: Bring one extra liter if you are unsure about water.
