Route: Chisos Basin entry w/ East Rim side mileage. Weather: Dry air and steady sun meant layers changed fast after sunrise.. Trail: Route stayed obvious, w/ minor wash marks in low spots.. Water: Water planning mattered most since natural sources were limited.. Crowds: crowded.
