Weather window analysis for big bend backcountry:
we went chisos basin entry w/ east rim side mileage starting at 6:25 am. Cool morning temps made long exposed miles feel manageable. Route stayed obvious, w/ minor wash marks in low spots.
Short version: know the signs of altitude.
