Big Bend Backcountry on a budget.
We went Chisos Basin entry with East Rim side mileage starting at 5:35 AM. Dry air and steady sun meant layers changed fast after sunrise. Tread was dry and clear with a few loose rock corners.
Ratings: 4 overall, 4 difficulty, 5 scenery.
