Another Big Bend Backcountry in the books.
We went Chisos Basin entry w/ East Rim side mileage starting at 6:50 AM. Cool morning temps made long exposed miles feel manageable. Route stayed obvious, w/ minor wash marks in low spots.
Short version: Break in boots at home.
Days like this are why I hike.
