Wildlife sightings on Big Bend Backcountry:
We went Chisos Basin entry w/ East Rim side mileage starting at 4:45 AM. Dry air and steady sun meant layers changed fast after sunrise. Route stayed obvious, w/ minor wash marks in low spots.
Wildlife/nature notes: Saw javelina near trailhead and small lizards on warm rock.
