Four-legged companion on Big Bend Backcountry.
We went Outer Mountain Loop sections from the Chisos side starting at 4:45 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
