Conditions played out exactly as forecast on Big Bend Backcountry. We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo w/ a one-night camp starting at 5:10 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections. Bottom line: Study the route at home. Still thinking ~ this one.
