Big Bend Backcountry terrain assessment. We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo with a one-night camp starting at 6:50 AM. Dry air and steady sun meant layers changed fast after sunrise route stayed obvious, with minor wash marks in low spots. Miles are earned, not given.
